**Bottom line for "is sBTC cashable":** in this window, yes — every request that was not
affirmatively rejected completed to a Bitcoin sweep, at median latency 7 Bitcoin
blocks (~70–100 min). 97 of 101 swept; the other 4 were rejected by signer vote,
not stuck.

## Method

Two independent reads, cross-checked per request-id:

1. **Event join** — paged `GET /extended/v1/contract/.../sbtc-registry/events`
   (50/page, newest-first) until the newest `withdrawal-create` seen dropped below
   u3495, collecting every `withdrawal-*` print event with `request-id` in
   [3500, 3600]: 101 creates, 97 accepts, 4 rejects (202 events).
2. **Read-only calls** — `call-read get-withdrawal-request` and
   `call-read get-completed-withdrawal-sweep-data` for each of the 101 ids
   (Hiro `/v2/contracts/call-read`).

## Q1 — counts, and which method decided

- **Created in window: 101** (all of u3500–u3600 present as `withdrawal-create`)
- **Reached a completed sweep: 97**
- **Rejected (no sweep): 4** — u3591, u3592, u3593, u3594
- **Pending: 0** — every request in the window is terminal.

**Method agreement:** event join and read-only calls agree on **all 101**
request-ids — `status == true` + sweep row present exactly for the 97 ids with a
`withdrawal-accept` event, and the 4 ids with `withdrawal-reject` show
`status == false` + no sweep row. No request-id needs a tie-break; where the two
methods could in principle diverge (rejected vs pending — see Q4) the **event
join is the one that actually distinguishes outcomes**, so it is the deciding
method for terminal classification. Fees are only observable in the accept
event, so the event join is also the source for Q3.

## Q2 — latency, create → completed sweep

Measured as `burn-height` (accept event) − `block-height` (create event).
**Both fields are Bitcoin burn-chain heights** — verified: create tx
`0xf1ad2f7f…f7a597` (u3550) carries `burn_block_height` 968473, identical to the
stored `block-height`, while its Stacks `block_height` is 9,056,323.

  10,000 is the modal cap by far (51/101); a tail of 340/500/…/5000 caps
  plus two near-zero outliers (u3591 cap 5, u3592 cap 10 — both rejected).
- Largest cap−actual gap: **u3549, 9,931 sats** (cap 10,000 → charged 69).
- Actual fee **never exceeded** the cap in this window.

## Q4 — requests with no completed sweep: rejected or pending?

**u3591, u3592, u3593, u3594 — all rejected, none pending.**

**The observable that separates the two:** the `withdrawal-reject` print event.
There is *no* read-only distinction — for all four, `get-withdrawal-request`
still returns the full request tuple with `status == false` and
`get-completed-withdrawal-sweep-data` returns `none`, which is byte-for-byte what
a still-pending request looks like. Only the event stream (or the
`withdrawal-status` map remaining `false` while a reject event exists) tells you
the request was affirmatively voted down rather than merely unprocessed.

Field note on the rejects: u3591 (707 sats, max-fee 5) and u3592 (844 sats,
max-fee 10) are dust-scale requests whose amounts are below typical sweep fees —
rejection is economically expected. u3593 (26,370/340) and u3594 (9,660/340) are
not dust; their reject events carry no reason field, so the veto cause is not
on-chain-observable from this contract.

## Q5 — one concrete way this dataset misleads "is sBTC cashable?"

**Read-only state makes rejected requests indistinguishable from hung
withdrawals.** Anyone answering the question with only the contract's read-only
functions — the method this bounty itself suggests as "cheaper than paging" —
sees u3591–u3594 as open requests with `status == false` and no sweep data:
exactly the signature of withdrawals that have sat unprocessed for ~450+ burn
blocks (~3 days) since creation. That reads as "≈4% of sBTC withdrawals hang
indefinitely" — the opposite of what happened. The request-ids that expose it:
u3591–u3594, where the `withdrawal-reject` events (txids above) prove the signer
set returned a verdict and the funds were never locked — a rejection is a *no*,
not a *stuck*. The `withdrawal-status`/`withdrawal-requests` maps do not record
the reject verdict at all; only the event log does.

Secondary, same flavor: the create event's `block-height` field is a **Bitcoin
burn height** (968473 for u3550) while the Stacks chain is at ~9.08M. If you
anchor creates to Stacks blocks you compute latencies of ~8.1 million "blocks"
and conclude withdrawals never complete — or worse, that the chain is broken.
Units are Bitcoin blocks throughout this report.
